How do I register for an account?

It is free to register for a Reservationless Conferencing account.

You just pay for what you use. To register for an account, simply call us on the helpdesk.

We will then send you your account details including chairperson and participant passcode.

What information should I give someone I invite to join my conference?

Simply tell people what time the meeting will start and give them the Reservationless Conferencing number to dial in, the Participant Passcode and the Reservationless Conferencing URL to join the web element if the web controls wish to be used.

What do I need in order to join a Reservationless Conferencing conference call?

All you need to join a meeting is a tone dialling telephone. If you are using the online features, you will need a PC with a web browser.

Reservationless Conferencing Online works best with fourth generation browsers (Netscape 4.5 and Internet Explorer 4.01 or above) set to accept cookies and java applets.

No additional software is required.

How do I start a meeting?

Using a tone dial telephone, dial the Reservationless Conferencing telephone number.

You will be prompted to enter a passcode and invited to record your name. If you are the chairperson, entering the passcode will start the meeting, taking everyone off music and allowing you to begin the meeting.

When using the online features, enter the phoneconference first then access Reservationless Conferencing Web Tools at www.webtools.bt.com, then go to Join a Conference Now.

Enter your details where prompted to enable your identification in the online representation of the meeting. When prompted, you will need to press #8 and enter the six digit code given to you on the screen to join the online conference.

What happens if I forget my passcodes?

If you forget or mislay your passcodes, please ring our help desk where we will be pleased to help you.

What are the payment structures for Reservationless Conferencing?

With Reservationless Conferencing, you pay for what you use. As the service requires no booking, there are no cancellation charges.
